Physics of Music Day
Every year, Mr. Donaldson's freshmen magnet physics class gear up for Physics of Music Day, held right before Thanksgiving break. Students are encouraged to sing, dance, act or play instruments. It's a day for students to have fun and share their musical or artistic talents.
Magnet Arts Night (MAN)
One of the most popular, the annual MAN is an evening where Magnet students get to show that they are not just future scientists, mathematicians, engineers, and programmers. It's a night that celebrates our students amazing ability in the Arts: music, theater, dance, and the visual arts are explored. It is an event eagerly anticipated every year.
Magnet Picnic
The annual Magnet Picnic at the end of the year allows our students to kick back with some well earned R&R. A little food, a little volleyball, and a lot of fun.
Silver Quest
Magnet students can also show off their talents with Silver Quest, a yearly publication of facts, opinion, art, poetry, and prose.
